Its been a fairly busy weekend at picky pencil.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of drawing the guests of a lovely couple celebrating their wedding at Crimonmogate house. Beautiful location for a beautiful bridal party. The weather held out long enough for me to sketch in pencil 30 guests although a few guests were a bit wind swept.
Congratulations Rebecca and Jordon.
On Sunday I was off to the annual Fraserburgh Vintage car rally where I drew some digital sketches on my Samsung notetablet and created a few photo face cartoons . Elsa is a popular lass. I had a mixture of people , dogs and even a car for the first time.It was a quick but fantastic day. Thanks everyone who came along for a news at my stall.
See you next year.
Last Friday I had a lovely time at a picky home party celebrating a birthday. All the guests enjoyed a free doodle and pencil pack containing coloured pencils to use to colour and make their own doodles.
We began the party with a game of 'adult' Bingo using our favourite colour to score off the squares The winner received a free caricature or photo face cartoon.
Using the colour we chose we discovered what that colour told us about our personality.A wee bit of colour therapy to set us up for the relaxation of colouring in our masterpieces.
Once the Birthday girl received her free colour print as way of a thank you for hosting a party we sat down and learned how to create a really nice and simple optic art pattern.
As you can see from the photos below we had lots of laughs and enjoyed a wee bit of relaxation colouring in our own design. No two were alike and I had a brilliant time showing everyone how to start.
Thanks again Sandra for having me along.
