Newest addition to picky pencil pets. This weeks newest drawing for my pet portrait page is one of my Christmas commissions. I love the reference photo as its so festive for this time of year and the look on his face is just priceless.
DRAWING DETAILS:
This week we have another piece of art from the Christmas period. These drawing were for grandparents to enjoy and drawn from family photographs taken by the client herself.
I used Bockingford hot pressed watercolour paper and fabercastel water soluble and polychromos pencils. I felt like I got to know these little cheeky faces really well over the festive period. For more examples of photorealistic artwork click HERE To match all this snow and cold weather in todays blog we have this lovely family making the most of the snowy conditions having a fish in this frozen lake.
The caricature was commissioned as a christmas card and was designed to include Alaska , igloos and ice fishing. But with todays weather I thought it would be appropraite . Wrap up warm folks. Lets start the week off with this little cutie Dexter.I created this colour drawing from a photograph as a christmas gift for the clients family friend.I really enjoyed drawing him.The commission was in the A5 size and was drawn in colour using my favourite Faber castell pencils. The best cure for the monday feeling , start your day with a cute dog... The drawing of Dexter is lovely and we are very pleased with it. It's just like him. |
