This week I would like to show you a drawing sketch I am going to add to my drawing page this week. I drew this from a lovely photograph found on her facebook page by my client. I then drew a black and white sketch onto A5 size bristol board paper.Client and recipient was very pleased as was I.
I was blown away when I received the drawing which I asked Lyn to draw for me for an engagement present, it was amazing, the detail that is put into it is spectacular, thanks again. Thanks Lyn. "
Had a really diferent commission this past week. My mission was to adjust a caricature drawing I have previously drawn for the very talented jenny at Cake affair. There is a link to her shop in the bar to the right.
Mission acomplished. One new drawing that you hopefully wouldnt know has been adjusted.
A big thank you to everyone who came along to my class at the young farmers ladies day course in Kemnay yesterday.
I had a lovely time thank you for inviting me. I love any excuse to talk about pencils and drawing for a few hours.
As promised I have enclosed the cheat sheet we used to help when drawing caricatures. Click the link below and you can print off your very own copy.
Favourite pic of March.
This is on one of my favourite commissions I did in March for a lovely friend of mine. It was her fifth wedding aniversary and wanted a fun pressie to give to her hubbie of that special day. As a fifth wedding anniversary is wood we added lots of trees in the background.
The lucky man in question is a very talented photographer and the lady a talented artisan who creates stunning faberge style eggs. So no pressure!!!!!
