Yeah finished my first ever portrait done in colour. I am quite chuffed with myself (hope you agree) .Now I am all fired up for my next picture for this blog. its going to by a little girl with a little bit of something I hope you havent seen before.
OOOO really enjoying using my colour pencils on a portrait.Was quite daunting at first but once I twigged that I didnt have to get the colours exactlly right and I used a bit of imagination I started to relax and really get into it.

Here we go.. stage one ..the frame of the face is complete. now all I have to do is colour it in!!. Away to use my new faber castell pencils, a cotton bud and a rubber (which i suspect will be put to good use).

in my "Back to the drawing board" blog I will be letting you have a sneak peek at what I get up to. Today we have my first ever attempt at a portrait done completely in coloured pencil. I am very excited about it but there is nothing more scarey than a blank sheet of paper.
